Our friends across the hall (from our store) got a new kitten, named Padme! She's so sweet, and it reminds me of when we had Tiny at the store. Look how cute she is!

Last Night we went to Crossroads to see The Counterclock Wise and The Pine Hill Haints. (As always) it was such a fun show! Dancing, friends, great music...what more do you need? And finally, The Counterclock Wise's LP Wind It Up to Shut 'Em Down was 'released.' We've had a copy of it on CD, but it's always great to get the anticipated vinyl LP. ( Read more... )

It's bittersweet to say that we are finished filming for the Counterclock Wise "Screaming Jenny" music video with the Dead Workers Party. We spent the day running (and falling) around the inside of the Depot downtown to avoid the rain outside. Luckily, the skies cleared long enough to get a few shots running and hopping on the trains. Saturday afternoon JD, Jon and I walked around to scout out locations for the Counterclock Wise "Screaming Jenny" Music Video shoot. We definitely found some places that will be perfect to film. The tentative date for the first shoot is Saturday, the 20th.

The Dead Workers Party is filming a "steam punk" music video for The Counterclock Wise's new song, Screaming Jenny. Their new album release is on Halloween (cannot wait...haunted house, bands, beer, so much fun!) night and I guess the video will correlate with it ( Read more... )

So...we still haven't found our camera. I give up. And that's ok beeeeecause on Friday my dad surprised me with a brand new Olympus DSLR. I am beyond ecstatic.
